VIMEO Video School – Video 101 for Beginners

Creating video can seem both easy as pie and impossible at the same time. That’s been the experience of many of our clients who strike out into the brave new world of in-house video creation. Likewise the abundance of advice, tips and tutorials on the internet can be a blessing, and a confusing maze that leaves folks frustrated.

That’s why we are so excited to share VIMEO’s video school! As a indie version of YouTube (without the ads and other nonsense) VIMEO has long been our go to method for sharing video. It also turns out they’ve assembled a wide variety of video tutorials on everything from shooting to editing to motion graphics. If you work at a non-profit and your boss has enthusiastically suggested YOU shoot/edit this year’s videos, this might be a great place to start.
