What is this?
In August of 2007, we were fortunate enough to travel to Western Kenya to do photo and video work for several non-profits who are building schools there. We know that there is constant competition for your attention from credit card offers, the latest episode of Gossip Girls and many many worthy charitable causes. Nonetheless, we hope you choose to get involved with our project because the building of schools is a simple, yet powerful way to help the people of Kenya help themselves. What's goin on?
This is a video report on the progress made in Kenya this past year! It's quite amazing how much they've accomplished and exciting to hear about what the future holds.
What is a Harambee?

Harambee is a Kiswahili word that means putting your hands together for a common goal. It's used when communities pitch in to do what no individual could. If a bridge gets washed away, the people will hold a Harambee for wood and concrete to build it back up. If a child falls ill, farmers will bring corn and vegetables to feed the family in need. We can do the same thing. By putting together our resources and skills we can continue to provide the communities of Western Kenya with sustainable development.
